At Seed House Project, home is just the start. We strive to support you in creating the life you want for yourself.
Is Seed House Project a good fit for you?
-
If you are between the ages of 18- 28 and you are currently experiencing housing instability or
homelessness? - Are you looking for more than housing and you’re open to support, healing, and opportunities to grow?
- Are you ready to actively participate in your own journey, including regular check-ins, programming, and community expectations?
- Do you want to set your own goals and define what stability, healing, and success look like for you?
- Are you open to building trusting relationships with mentors and staff over time?
- Are you willing to show up consistently and communicate when things feel hard?
- Are you interested in a program that values your voice, choice, and lived experience?
If you answered “yes” to most of these, Seed House Project may be a good fit for you right now.
What Seed House Project is not:
Not just a place to sleep.
Seed House is not emergency shelter or a crash spot. It’s a living, learning community focused on growth, responsibility, and long-term stability.
Not a substance-using environment.
This is not a place where drugs or alcohol are allowed. We maintain a sober, supportive space so everyone can focus on healing, clarity, and progress.
Not a program you can stay disengaged in.
Seed House is not passive housing. Members are expected to participate in house life, meetings, programming, and their own development.
Not a program that does life for you.
We don’t rescue, enable, or manage adulthood for members. We walk alongside you while you build the skills to manage your own life.
Not a place without accountability.
This is not a space where harmful behavior, repeated rule-breaking, or disrespect toward others is ignored.
Not a quick-fix or short-term solution.
Seed House is not an overnight transformation. It’s a commitment to a process of growth, repair, and responsibility.
Not just a career program or just a school program.
While we support education and employment, Seed House is about whole-life development — emotional, relational, practical, and purposeful.
Not a space for violence, intimidation, or exploitation.
Physical harm, threats, theft, or manipulation are not tolerated.
Not a place to avoid challenges.
Seed House is not designed to remove all difficulty — it’s designed to support you in learning how to face challenges in healthy, empowered ways.
Not a one-way service relationship.
This is not “we serve, you receive.” Seed House is a community. Members contribute, support one another, and help shape the home.
Not a quick-fix or short-term solution.
Seed House is not an overnight transformation. It’s a commitment to a process of growth, repair, and responsibility.
Not the right fit right now?
If Seed House Project isn’t the best option for you at this moment, we can help connect you to other housing, health, and support resources.
