THE PROGRAM

Seed House Project is a 24-month, whole-person pathway for system-impacted young people experiencing homelessness.

Seed House Project is not an emergency shelter. It is a long-term, immersive program designed to give young people the time, stability, and support that short-term interventions cannot. For many of the young people we serve, consistent housing and family-based guidance were never reliably available. Seed House Project becomes both home and classroom—a place where daily life itself offers structure, care, accountability, and learning.

Where Stability, Healing, and Purpose Meet

Lasting change doesn’t come from housing, programs, or opportunities alone—it comes from integration. At Seed House Project, our Life School approach weaves safe housing, consistent relationships, skill-building, and purpose into one ecosystem. Together, these pillars give young people the support, practice, and direction they need to move from survival to self-authorship.

A Home Starts With a Community

At our heart, we are present to the profound challenges faced by young people who have aged out of the foster care system, never had a home, or are still searching for a place to belong. Seed House Project is anchored by two homes–each a living community.

Cameron’s Home

Living community for male and non-binary male-bodied youth in school or working full time.

Ursula’s Home

Co-ed living community for student youth enrolled in a full-time college program.

A Pathway to Purpose

Purpose Therapy is the heart of Seed House Project’s work. Led by licensed clinicians and grounded in evidence-based psychological and neurological practices, Purpose Therapy supports young people in moving beyond survival toward a grounded sense of identity, agency, and meaning. It centers not only what a young person has lived through, but who they are becoming.

At the core of this approach is the PPP Model: Pain, Power, Purpose—a human, non-linear framework that reflects how tangible growth happens in real life.

Pain

We acknowledge pain without pathologizing it. Young people process trauma, loss, and unhelpful patterns in safe, dignified, and culturally responsive ways. Pain is understood, contextualized, and integrated—not erased.

Power icon

Power

As pain is recognized, young people reclaim power. This stage builds self-regulation, confidence, boundaries, and choice, helping them reconnect to strengths and exercise agency in daily life.

Purpose icon

Purpose

Purpose emerges when young people envision and work toward a future they choose. The combination of therapy, life coaching, and mentorship supports meaning-making, values clarification, and long-term goal setting—connecting growth to education, work, creativity, leadership, and community engagement.

An Integrated Model, Putting Youth on a Pathway to Purpose

At the core of Seed House Project is Purpose Therapy, which pairs each young person with a therapist, life coach, and mentor to support healing, agency, and purpose through the Pain to Power to Purpose framework. Housing, healing, education, and purpose development work together as one flexible ecosystem, guided by youth choice.

Real Lives, Real Impact

Young people at Seed House Project build belonging, develop life skills, strengthen their wellbeing, and chart self-directed paths with long-term stability. Our replicable model focuses on whole-person growth and is designed to move youth from crisis to confidence.
